Moar & Butler's story began in the early 1900s here in Widnes. Founded by brothers Thomas and Robert Butler, the business, then known as T & R Butler, quickly expanded. They operated from an office on Bold Street, with their horses stabled nearby on Lacey Street.

In the 1950s, the Moar family acquired the business, renaming it Moar & Butler. For nearly 50 years, we've been a part of Craven Ltd, one of the largest independent funeral providers in Merseyside and North Cheshire.

And so our journey continues...

Both our branches in Widnes, on Dickson Street and Hough Green, offer comfortable and welcoming facilities. We're equally proud of our fleet of modern limousines, which are regularly maintained to ensure a smooth and dignified journey for your loved one.
